Hi, thanks for message. You need to take care when you add a message not to remove other comments, as per the message above. I've restored it and added a header. You can sign your comments automatically using four tildes ~~~~. I deleted your article because

  • it did not provide independent verifiable sources to enable us to verify the facts and show that you meet the notability guidelines. It is now Wikipedia policy that biographical articles about living people must have independent verifiable references, as defined in the link, or they will be deleted. Sources that are not acceptable include those linked to you or an affiliated company, press releases, YouTube, IMDB, social media and other sites that can be self-edited, blogs, websites of unknown or non-reliable provenance, and sites that are just reporting what you claim or interviewing you. Note that references should be in-line so we can tell what fact each is supporting, and should not be bare urls. You gave no references of any kind.
  • There is nothing in your text to suggest that you meet the notability guidelines for music. You appear to be just an amateur as far as we can tell.
  • Not reasons for deletion, but you should read promotion and copyright.
  • You have an obvious conflict of interest. If, after reading the information about notability linked above, you still believe that you are notable enough for a Wikipedia article (and that there is significant coverage in reliable, independent secondary sources), you could, if you wish, post a request at Wikipedia:Requested articles for the article to be created. See also guidance for editors with conflicts of interest and writing about yourself.

Before attempting to write an article again, please make sure that the topic meets the notability criteria linked above, and check that you can find independent third party sources. Also read Your first article.

Your draft is certain to be rejected again because it has no independent third-party references and nothing to show that you are a notable musician as defined here. This isn't facebook, you can't just write what you like about yourself Jimfbleak - talk to me? 13:44, 11 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Draft:Michael Steenhout, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

Michael Steenhout moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Michael Steenhout, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. ––FormalDude talk 11:28, 18 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia. While objective prose about beliefs, organisations, people, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Thank you.
