List of The Simpsons episodes‎

Hi, I noticed that you added the incomplete list template to the article, and I was wondering why. As far as I can tell, the page contains every single episode and thus is complete. -- Scorpion0422 02:10, 6 April 2008 (UTC)

Hello, in response to your enquiry, I added the incomplete list template to the article since the series is not complete and episodes are still in production. However, I can see how it may seem irrelevant since the list has all the currently aired epsiodes on it and thus would be considered 'complete'— nonetheless — isn't a list of episodes incomplete until the show has been cancelled or otherwise stopped making new episodes? --Mizu onna sango15/珊瑚15 00:31, 7 April 2008 (UTC)

G'day

Hey, thanks for dropping past my talk page. First post :P I can't remember why I was reading the Sweeney Todd page - I haven't even seen the movie yet. And now I've spoiled the plot for myself! Born in Alaska, living in Japan... very interesting combination. How did that come to pass? (The living in Japan bit - I'm guessing you didn't have much say in where you were born!) Regards, Feyrauth (talk) 00:33, 18 April 2008 (UTC)

Hmm... Living in Japan? Nope, I'm still here in AK... Heh, last time I checked, at least. :S Where's it say that on my Userpage? I hope to visist Japan one day, though. You did get the Alaska part right, however; I've been here in AK my whole life. :)
"G'day"... You're Austrailian, then? :D And you haven't yet seen the film? When does/did it come out there?

Regards, Mizu onna sango15/珊瑚15 01:44, 18 April 2008 (UTC)

Apologies

I apologize for my hostility and have updated a few things on the pages we have been discussing, including the Larry Woody article. GeoffEighinger (talk) 07:21, 26 April 2008 (UTC)

Thank you. All I wanted was to come to an agreement about this. I think I'll also de-prod your list articles to give them a chance to grow before considering deletion. Perhaps if another editor agrees to have them deleted, then maybe it can be taken to AFD.
Also, I hope you don't mind my moves, but they were much needed and I think benefitted the articles.
Regards, Mizu onna sango15/珊瑚15 19:48, 26 April 2008 (UTC).

Peter Hattingh

I added some material to Peter Hattingh. Could you please revisit Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Peter Hattingh? --Eastmain (talk) 23:17, 27 April 2008 (UTC)

I don't know, I'm still unsure about notability and third-party coverage. Besides, some other participants in the discussion and I suspect possible conflict of interest, and until this is straightened out, I'm afraid the article is still a candidate for deletion. Mizu onna sango15/珊瑚15 23:31, 27 April 2008 (UTC)

Editor review

I left a review at your editor review. Cheers, Sephiroth BCR (Converse) 02:20, 28 April 2008 (UTC)

Thank you. I hope this can help me improve as a Wikipeda editor. :) Mizu onna sango15/珊瑚15 00:48, 29 April 2008 (UTC)

Yo!

Long time..no talk! Nice to hear from you again! Here is how you make an identity (in laymans terms :D)

1.) Find a hash encryptor (er?).

2.) Think of a phrase that you could use that would tell the person your identity. (eg, "I am Mizu_onna_sango15, and I am claiming this account as mine".

3.) Encode it.

4.) MOST IMPORTANT!-- Save the phrase (not the hash!) into a new document (eg, NotePad, Word...). DO NOT EVER FORGET THIS...EVER! THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT STEP! THIS PROTECTS YOUR IDENTITY!!!

5.) Go back to Wikipedia and paste the code to the template.

6.) Put it on your page.

Glad I could help!,

L337p4wn (talk) 23:51, 10 May 2008 (UTC)

Arigatou! Er, where can I find a hash encriptor? So, once I find this encryptor, I just put my sequence in...? And then what? Man, what I would give for basic computer knowledge. :P --Mizu onna sango15/珊瑚15 00:24, 11 May 2008 (UTC)

Just Google a SHA-1 encryptor. When you find it, just type the phrase you want to encode...and +++POP+++, out comes a SHA-1 encryption.

L337p4wn (talk) 02:36, 11 May 2008 (UTC)

...*utter confusion* Forgive my ignorance; one would think I was from 1647. :D So, for clarity, I think of a good sequence that cannot easily be guessed, run it through the encryptor, take the result of the encryption (?) back here to Wikipedia after saving it to the computer or otherwise keeping track of it, then paste the code and place it on my page? But if I post it publicly on my page (like you did), doesn't that mean that in the case of someone breaching my account, they could easily see the code and use it since it's displayed openly on my userpage? :S Mizu onna sango15/珊瑚15 02:45, 11 May 2008 (UTC)

I'm now completly confused. >.<

L337p4wn (talk) 02:49, 11 May 2008 (UTC)

Er, the gist of it is: What do you mean by "encrypt" it? >< Once I find the encryptor, what do I do with it? Mizu onna sango15/珊瑚15 02:50, 11 May 2008 (UTC)

Find an encryptor. Encrypt the text by putting it in the text box. Press the encode button. It encodes it. (Oh! And by the way, I'm doing editor review!)

L337p4wn (talk) 03:13, 11 May 2008 (UTC)

Wow; And so, I just take the result (after it's been encoded) to Wikipedia and post it? Brilliant.
Yay! You're doing ER! Have you seen mine? If you haven't, see the link to it on my userpage. I was pleasantly surprised. Best wishes, I hope I get this right! :D Mizu onna sango15/珊瑚15 03:17, 11 May 2008 (UTC)

May 2008

Hello. Regarding the recent revert you made: You may already know about them, but you might find Wikipedia:Template messages/User talk namespace useful. After a revert, these can be placed on the user's talk page to let them know you considered their edit was inappropriate, and also direct new users towards the sandbox. They can also be used to give a stern warning to a vandal when they've been previously warned. Thank you. Oore (talk) 03:09, 17 May 2008 (UTC)

Thank you. I did know about these, but thought the user/IP had already been warned accordingly. My mistake. Regards, --Mizu onna sango15/珊瑚15 03:11, 17 May 2008 (UTC).

I've removed the Prod from this article. I personally believe notability is borderline here but just enough. I would be happy for the article to go through the AFD procedure for community consensus instead. Exxolon (talk) 12:50, 18 May 2008 (UTC)

I see now there's a bit more content to the article showing vague notability, but it does still need more reliable sources. I won't take it to AFD yet, but should another editor voice concern over the notibility of the subject, I may AFD it anyway. Cheers, --Mizu onna sango15/珊瑚15 20:11, 18 May 2008 (UTC).

Warnings

You recently tagged an edit I made as unconstructive and reverted it, but did not observe any of the content. I encourage you in the future to have good faith, as this was a simple template paste. Annonymity does not equate into vandalism. Thank you for your diligence, but I would encourage you to bee more cautious in the future. -66.109.248.114 (talk) 03:26, 20 May 2008 (UTC).

Thank you for contacting me on this matter. In the future, please use edit summaries in your edits to justify massdeletes and other controversial things. From your diff (and I did observe the edit) it showed you removed a part of a template and pasted another one without closing it. This doesn't work, as it just appears as wikitext otherwise.
Oh, and by the way. AGF works both ways, and is not just for anons. Please know that if I revert you, it is because I believe it was genuinely unconstructive based on the diff shown, not because you're an anon or anything of the like; I'm not that mean. :) Cheerio, --Mizu onna sango15/珊瑚15 03:35, 20 May 2008 (UTC).

Rollback

After determining that you are an experienced vandal fighter, I have enabled rollback on your account. Keep these things in mind when going to use rollback:

  • Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle.
  • Rollback can only be used to revert vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
  • Rollback may be removed at any time.

If you do not want rollback, then contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some information on how to use rollback, you can view this page. I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, just leave me a message on my talk page. Happy editing! Malinaccier (talk) 21:02, 20 May 2008 (UTC)

Ah, thanks so much! I shall use it well. Cheers, --Mizu onna sango15/珊瑚15 21:03, 20 May 2008 (UTC).
No problem. Malinaccier (talk) 21:11, 20 May 2008 (UTC)

(I took a look at your monobook.js page) I'm guessing you have these extra buttons down in your toolbox because you installed Lupin's Anti-Vandal Tool. Are the new links like "Filter recent changes", "All recent changes", etc? Malinaccier (talk) 22:17, 21 May 2008 (UTC)

Yes. :D That's odd, because when I installed (or tried to) Lupin's tool, it wasn't working, and so I gave up on it. I assumed that these new tools such as what you have said were because of the Rollback. --Mizu onna sango15/珊瑚15 22:19, 21 May 2008 (UTC)
You must have refreshed your cache :) (It only works after you do). You can still get to the old Recent changes by going to Special:RecentChanges. If you need anymore help, don't hesitate to ask! Malinaccier (talk) 22:37, 21 May 2008 (UTC)
I see. Hmm, well, I would like to make use of these tools if I can; Are there any special features to them that may be helpful to me? When I try to Rollback the vandal edits, a popup tells me I don't have the right equipment, or requirments, or something to that. What might be wrong? Mizu onna sango15/珊瑚15 22:41, 21 May 2008 (UTC)
The truth is, it often tells me that too (and I'm an admin). Your best bet would be to click (hist) or (diff) and click the rollback link there, or you can check the box "non admin rollback". Malinaccier (talk) 22:53, 21 May 2008 (UTC)
Eh, it's still not working. :( I'll just use Recent changes like I have before. Besides, it hardly matters, I have Rollback now, so I can revert vandalism with the click of a mouse, anyway. :) Thanks, --Mizu onna sango15/珊瑚15 22:58, 21 May 2008 (UTC).

Sorry I couldn't be of more help! Have fun hunting vandals! :) Malinaccier (talk) 23:05, 21 May 2008 (UTC)

No, your advice was quite helpful. I'll use the golden eraser to it's full benefit. :) Thanks again. --Mizu onna sango15/珊瑚15 23:07, 21 May 2008 (UTC)

Incorrect reversion

It looks like you reverted a good edit to an article by an anonymous user. Someone had previously duplicated all of the content in the article, and the anonymous user was simply removing the duplication. It's an easy mistake to make, since they didn't leave an edit summary, but I just wanted to point this out. I've reverted your revert and mentioned this on the IP's talk page. — λ (talk) 21:51, 22 May 2008 (UTC)

Dang it!

I can't translate. Sorry! I'd love to help you, but my German isn't that good! Now...ask me about words, and I might be able to help...

L337p4wn (talk) 23:48, 22 May 2008 (UTC)

Aww. Well, that's okay, I'm sure we can find someone else. ;) Hmm...what's the German word for "dog"? "Knife"? "Cookie"? :P
Also, as you can see on my userpage, I encoded my phrase. Idk if it's right though, and I'm worried that if I did it wrong, it might fail, and I may not get my account back should it be compromised. :0 --Mizu onna sango15/珊瑚15 23:56, 22 May 2008 (UTC)

For:

  • Dog, "Hund"
  • Knife, "Messer"
  • and for Cookie..., "Plätzchen"

^.^

Heh. Gotta love languages. Fascinating... --Mizu onna sango15/珊瑚15 05:40, 25 May 2008 (UTC)

Soooo...how have you been? School for us in Wichita has been out for about 4 days now. I've been sleeping in!

L337p4wn (talk) 23:25, 26 May 2008 (UTC)

Hah. Same here, L337-chan. I almost forgot what it was like to go to school, already...And it's been out for nearly a fortnight, now! |) --Mizu onna sango15/珊瑚15 23:36, 26 May 2008 (UTC)

All of my friends are so dramatic about "taking a break". Then again, there's no homework! All I've really done today was watch Monty Python's Flying Circus on BBC America, and get on here. So much for an exciting break!

L337p4wn (talk) 23:41, 26 May 2008 (UTC)

Lol, yeah, I know. I rather miss school. :| There, I concede. --Mizu onna sango15/珊瑚15 23:50, 26 May 2008 (UTC)

General cleanup tag on Rhyming slang

Questions from Douglas2.5

Dear Mizu onna sango15|Mizu onna sango15]]/珊瑚15, since you wrote that welcome letter to me last time, I was wondering if I can consult you. Can I edit my userpage because of an event? For example, if you visit my userpage right now, it is honoring Ronald Reagan because of his death anniversary. Also, if you literally wanted to remove everything on your page, how will people know it's not vandalism? Thxs, Douglas2.5 (talk) 20:09, 3 June 2008 (UTC)

As for editing your userpage because of recent events, certainly. You may do just about anything to your userpage that is not insulting, uncivil or otherwise not permitted by policy. See here, for example. Also, technically speaking, you really shouldn't remove everything from your page even if you wanted to, because that can be taken as a deletion request (when the owner of their page blanks it, it means "I want you to delete this page" per WP:CSD#G7). Hope that helps! --Mizu onna sango15/珊瑚15 22:05, 3 June 2008 (UTC)

RfA !vote

Hi there. I appreciate your !vote of confidence in my RfA - unfortunately, you voted in the archived first RfA attempt. If you like, you should look over the current RfA, weigh the statements, supports, and opposes, and cast your !vote there. Tan | 39 06:01, 4 June 2008 (UTC)

(Blank stare) Oh, I'm so sorry- I can't belive I did that! Well, then again, I do need some sleep. I appologise, and will be sure to vote in your current RFA. Again, my appologies; I'm still shocked that I made such a newbie mistake. :P Cheers, --Mizu onna sango15/珊瑚15 20:41, 4 June 2008 (UTC).
