My father Dennis Smith received the George Medal in 1958 for the rescue of a trapped worker (https://www.thegazette.co.uk/London/issue/41528/supplement/6426/data.pdf) he is now 89 and was distressed when he googled and came up with this list that he wasn't on it. he didn't really understand the concept of Wikipedia, and that the fact he isn't on this list doesn't mean anything. I was going to edit it myself, but didn't want to mess up your page. Would you mind adding him in? Many thanks. That's because this is a (very complex) work in progress and I've only fully added gallantry medals as far back as 1960! I'm now focusing my efforts on moving forwards from 1920, so it'll be a long time until I catch myself up. But I can add that issue of the LG for him. Give me a few days and I'll do it.
