Hi PRP-SPHLV, let me introduce myself as NoLiesJustFactsBro23. I hope that you understand that Conflict of Interest is taken very seriously on Wikipedia. If you have any questions regarding how that works, please see the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. Upon reviewing the following article, I have discerned that the author of the following edits that were of your concern had not written anything that is of "fraud", "impersonation", "attacks" or such that you have accused. The author simply wrote that controversies have arisen, and accusations have been made, although no conclusion has yet to be found. That is valid. By preventing knowledge from other users and turning what should be an impartial Wiki article into your organization's marketing tool, you are clearly disrupting Wikipedia's mission to be "an encyclopedia for all." It is in our philosophy that knowledge should be accessible to all, even at times when some may not like to hear it, or when attempts to silence certain knowledges are being pursued. I hope this, too, is also what your school stands for. If you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page NoLiesJustFactsBro23. 01:08, 16 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Managing a conflict of interest

[edit]

Information icon Hello, PRP-SPHLV. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the page Pelita Harapan School, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Also please note that editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Longhair\talk 06:37, 16 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, I write it for my company I already disclose myself by following this step. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Conflict_of_interest#How_to_disclose_a_COI So I have to unlink all the link that I already put inside?

One question: How can I know the content is valid or not. Because lately someone attack our company through wikipedia and it's not valid.

Thank you

Hello PRP-SPHLV. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, such as the edit you made to Pelita Harapan School, and that you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially egregious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to Black hat SEO.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists, and if it does not, from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:PRP-SPHLV. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=PRP-SPHLV|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, please do not edit further until you answer this message. Longhair\talk 06:39, 16 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi PRP-SPHLV,

I have responded to several of your questions on my talk page. Please feel free to ask me any other questions about conduct on Wikipedia, or leave any comments if need be.

Hi! Yeah, I want to ask If I have a statement from the School to explain the Controversies, can we edit the paragraph? There's a wikipedia: Neutral Point of View that's written:

All encyclopedic content on Wikipedia must be written from a neutral point of view (NPOV), which means representing fairly, proportionately, and, as far as possible, without editorial bias, all of the significant views that have been published by reliable sources on a topic.

So, I'm questioning about the reliability of the controversies content.

Could you give me any explaination?

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on User:PRP-SPHLV, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. There have been two problems with this account: the account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia, and your username indicates that the account represents a business or other organisation or group or a web site, which is also against policy, as an account must be for just one person. Because of those problems, the account has been blocked indefinitely from editing. Additionally, If you receive, or expect to receive, compensation for your contributions to Wikipedia, you must disclose who is paying you to edit.

If you intend to make useful contributions about some topic other than your business or organisation, you may request an unblock. To do so, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with a new username you are willing to use. See Special:CentralAuth to search for available usernames. Your new username will need to meet our username policy. Replace the text "Your reason here" with your reason to be unblocked. In that reason, you must:

  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
If you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal this block. To do so, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page, replace the text "Your reason here" with your reason for thinking that the block was an error, and publish the page.
