Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia!

I hope not to seem unfriendly or make you feel unwelcome, but I noticed your username, and I am concerned that it might not meet Wikipedia's username policy for the following reason: you seem to be editing for Richlyn Systems. After you look over that policy, could we discuss that concern here?

I'd appreciate learning your own views, for instance your reasons for wanting this particular name, and what alternative username you might accept that avoids raising this concern.

You have several options freely available to you:

Thank you. Alexius08 (talk) 14:30, 17 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I would like to second this concern. Wikipedia has a policy regarding usernames that specifically states in part:

Use of Wikipedia for promotion of a company or group is not permitted, and accounts that do this will be blocked. Use of a company or group name as a username is not explicitly prohibited, but it is not recommended, and depending on the circumstances may be seen as a problem…Accounts that represent an entire group or company are not permitted.

— excerpt from Wikipedia:Username policy (emphasis mine)

Fortunately, your edits do not seem to constitute blatant advertising, the company your username seemingly represents appears to be notable, and you appear to have done your best to write the article from neutral point of view. However, please address the concerns expressed by Alexius08 and myself here. KuyaBriBriTalk 14:49, 17 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,

Thank you for making me aware of this violation of Wikipedia policy. I'm sorry I didn't realise. I have immediately requested a username change and hope we can resolve this quickly Richlynsystems (talk) 16:46, 17 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your quick response. KuyaBriBriTalk 15:13, 18 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
