Information icon Hello, I'm Davey2010. I noticed that you made a change to an article, President of Singapore, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. –Davey2010Talk 12:42, 27 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Davey2010, I only used the template to convert days to years & days, thus I reverted your edit. Do correct me if i'm wrong as i'm new here.

Re: Non-free image use

[edit]

Hi Marchjuly, to answer what you said previously, I only used what is provided on their respective pages (Tower Transit Singapore & Go-Ahead Singapore) & converted them into a template so it can be used on related pages. However I currently removed the template links on List of bus routes in Singapore. If you still think that it does not fulfil Wikipedia's policy, do drop me a message.
-- SMB315C

Non-free content is only allowed to be used in the article namespace per WP:NFCC#9; it cannot be used in templates. You can add links to the aricles about "Tower Transit" and "Go-Ahead" to other articles if you want, but you need to be careful about directly adding the logo files themselves. The fact that a non-free file is being used in one particular article does not automatically mean it can be used on other articles as well. Each use of a non-free file is required to meet all ten non-free content criteria listed in WP:NFCCP, so if you feel that non-free use is justified make sure that you provide the non-free use rationale required by WP:NFCC#10c. Even that, however, does not mean the use meets the other non-free criteria so the rationale needs to address all ten criteria.
Finally, user talk page posts are like records of conversations between editors. You can remove post made by others if you want per WP:OWNTALK, but it can make things easier to follow if the entire thread is there for reference. -- Marchjuly (talk) 05:39, 31 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2017 election voter message

[edit]

Hello, SMB315C. Voting in the 2017 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 10 December. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
