Speedy deletion of Dravid (Surname)[edit]

A tag has been placed on Dravid (Surname), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to have no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent. If the page you created was a test, please use the sandbox for any other experiments you would like to do. Feel free to leave a message on my talk page if you have any questions about this.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. RavichandarMy coffee shop 06:17, 5 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The article Bhau Daji Lad has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable flash video, remarkable only for having won a non-notable online award. I can find no significant coverage in independent reliable sources.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.  Glenfarclas  (talk) 02:31, 13 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Invite to WikiConference India 2011[edit]

Hi Sankalpdravid,

The First WikiConference India is being organized in Mumbai and will take place on 18-20 November 2011.
You can see our Official website, the Facebook event and our Scholarship form.

But the activities start now with the 100 day long WikiOutreach.

As you are part of WikiProject India community we invite you to be there for conference and share your experience. Thank you for your contributions.

We look forward to see you at Mumbai on 18-20 November 2011

I see you speak Marathi fluently. Would you please take a look at Poorva Gokhale to see if it can be rescued? I found some English sources but I expect that most sources are in Marathi or Hindi which I don't understand. Cloveapple (talk) 01:30, 17 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Tibet Autonomous Region[edit]

This edit summary is unacceptable, perhaps even insulting. I ask that you do not ever repeat this behaviour, namely sly personal attacks that remain visible forever (because they are edit summaries). Also, I have reverted your change because it fails to conform with the maps in the other PRC provincial articles. GotR Talk 20:08, 29 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
