Hey Sceegt—thanks for your recent contributions. I noticed your interest in Wikipedia's video game content and thought you might be interested in the video games WikiProject. We've done some great work (over 300 pieces of Featured content and over 1700 Good articles), but there is plenty more to do. Questions

[edit]

Hi there! You have a lot of excellent edits. Here's some questions and rules that are required of us all. You've often used good WP:VGRS WP:RS (please read those pages many times) which are always mandatory for each statement, but you don't always use them, like with faqs.org which is WP:USERGEN. You've used some good edit summaries but usually none at all. WP:EDITSUMMARY says we gotta always use those, like "added a WP:RS". You've used illogical or bombastic euphemisms from pop culture like "1994 saw" which means that a year is a thing with vision that sees things, or a foreign language like "i.e." instead of "which is" or "for example". An encyclopedic WP:TONE is required. And finally, when we see a new account with pro mode skillz, we must ask you to name any of your other Wikipedia accounts you might have. I hope everything works out. Thank you! — Smuckola(talk) 20:29, 21 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hey many thanks for your comments! Yeah referencing as much as possible is important to me. I was not aware however that certain sources are not allowed. I'll make sure not to make the mistake again. And thanks for the appreciation of my skills! Actually I don't have other accounts, but I've been very active from time to time on Wikia so I'm well accustomed to the format and technicals of Wikipedia. I decided to create this after seeing a lot of missing info in 90s fighting games that I looked into as of late. (fun fact I used to be a regular contributor on Tekkenpedia some 15 years back, which sadly has now gone idle). Also where have I written the "1994 saw" you noted?
