Non-free image File:Tera Myers in 2005.jpg

[edit]

Hi! I'm afraid I had to remove the image of Tera Myers that you added, as, according to the non-free content policy, because Myers is still alive, it is reasonable to assume that a free image could be attained. While I noticed that you used a rationale from WikiNews, their free-use requirements are a bit different to what is used on WP. The rules here may be a bit stricter than elsewhere - as I understand it, it is because of a conflict between the free-content licensing of the text, which raises difficulties when we add non-free content under fair use claims, so the use of such photos ended up being severely restricted. - Bilby (talk) 05:18, 19 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, do note that Wikinews' fair use policy is completely different than ours because the two sites have different goals. I urge you to review the policy for this site. Thanks, /ƒETCHCOMMS/ 16:06, 23 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Watchlists?

[edit]

[I posted the details of what happened, and then I removed them. They're still available to you if you look in your talk page's history. For obvious reasons, I don't think they should be quite so easily viewable -- for instance, this way they won't show up on Wikipedia mirrors.]

Because I was cleaning up a smear campaign, the edit summaries simply referred to cleaning up a smear campaign. And that's what you saw in your watchlist.

As for a poem -- I honestly don't know what you mean? DS (talk) 12:24, 27 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
