About Hoda AlKhzaimi Biography Page
[edit]Thanks so much for your feedback. Could you please advise what should I do to make the information provided a neutral one and aligned with the Wikipedia's guidelines? Mahmoud Kishk29 (talk) 19:29, 20 September 2023 (UTC)
- @Mahmoud Kishk29: Check out Wikipedia:Your First Article and Help:Referencing for beginners. Your references are also not suitable as they are all primary sources, see Wikipedia:No original research. But yes, the main issue with the article and the reason I declined it is because of NPOV issues. Primarily, the article uses many peacock words which do nothing but promote the subject of the article. Sections like "Expertise in Cybersecurity and Cryptology" read more as essay headings rather than enclopedic headings (e.g. Personal Life, Career). MOS:STYLE has guidelines for sectioning your article. At its current state, I would say that the article needs a substantial rewrite to be suitable. Most of the content can be cut out or made more concise. Thanks for your contributions to Wikipedia, and let me know if you have any other questions. (P.S. maintaining a neutral point of view is one of the 5 pillars of Wikipedia, so I would make absolutely sure your contributions aren't biased before you make them, especially if you are making them in the Article space. Typically an article like the one you made would be nominated for speedy deletion for being too promotional.) StartOkayStop (talk) 19:49, 20 September 2023 (UTC)
Draft: Alexander Sitkovetsky, rock guitarist
[edit]Hello StartOkayStop,
Thanks for your advice re: my draft page for submission. A couple of reference links about my bands and myself have already been included on my draft page. Please explain what is wrong with them and I will add some more. Also, my English page in Wiki is based on my Russian page in Russian Wiki:
This was translated, edited and updated but the Russian references were not included as they are irrelevant in English.
Please advise, your help is highly appreciated. Alexander Sitkovetsky 47.157.181.215 (talk) 00:50, 21 September 2023 (UTC)
- You are allowed to use foreign language sources, however, that's not the only thing. Machine-translating articles without editing them or making WP:Manual of Style changes is discouraged. Additionally, the Russian Wikipedia has different requirements for notability. And please keep in mind that there are strict requirements for writing articles about yourself, which you can see at WP:Autobiography. Let me know if you have any further questions. Thanks, StartOkayStop (talk) 01:50, 21 September 2023 (UTC)
hie there, i dont think i had made a mistake. i just want a more accurate definition of linux than what is being forced down peoples throats. its 2023 many people will use linux without gnu if they want and we cant keep explaining linux as a system thats mandatory to contain gnu but the more realistic definition of it as just a kernel that you can take any way you want. if you feel its best to impose a very inaccurate meaning of our beloved liniux onto the newer generation of fans of who'm constantly try to point this very issue out. Edits to The Last Mile (Prison Rehabilitation)
[edit]I work at TLM and I am updating our wikipedia. Unfortunately, you cannot paste in Wiki, so I have to write everything from a doc that our staff and leadership worked on. I cannot type the entire thing and so I am saving it periodically and adding paragraphs each day. Emilyl44 (talk) 18:58, 11 October 2023 (UTC)

Could you look over my Draft again?
[edit]Hi there! I hope you are well (:
A few months ago you rejected a biographical article I wrote (Draft:Cameron Driggers) citing a lack of sources. I have recently updated the draft by adding much more well-sourced information. I technically received the grade I needed for this assignment as it was accepted onto the main space for a short time, but I felt bad knowing it was quickly downgraded back to a draft. I was hoping you could give it another look to see if its ready to be public just yet. Mrwriter2.0 (talk) 06:13, 25 February 2024 (UTC)
