Hello. You've been here since mid-October, and no-one has welcomed you here yet?! Let me correct that omission right away…

Welcome!

Hello Stephen DeSilva, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome!

I saw your message on my talk page about your receipt of the vandalism message. I assure you that the vandalism message was not intended for you: it was an error that you received it, although it turns out the error was not mine. I think the message you referred to was actually in response to this anonymous edit for which I think "nonsense" was a fair description! It appears that there has been a glitch in the Wiki software that drives the encyclopedia, and this explanation on the offending user's talk page may help throw light on why you were erroneously alerted and directed to the vandalism message. I can well understand that it must have seemed to you like a disheartening false accusation, and I do apologise for that. Your contributions are valued.

Once again, welcome. Regards, RobertGtalk 10:24, 4 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Hi and welcome back to Wikipedia. I noticed since you started editing again, the you seem to have an interest in Medieval topics, especially Medieval art. Please join us at WikiProject Middle Ages Dsmdgold 01:41, 18 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
