June 2019[edit]

Information icon Please do not add commentary, your own point of view, or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Adult & Teen Challenge. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Thank you. John from Idegon (talk) 00:32, 8 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

It's not "commentary" or "my point of view", it's only objective wording, and only someone with something to hide would believe otherwise. I don't know why you care SO MUCH about that page that you happen to revert every single edit that goes slightly against the organization. You reverted so many well made edits that only added neutrality to the page, yet you're talking about neutrality to me here? What you've been doing in that page for weeks is so unnatural, and I'm in strong belief it deserves an investigation. TerrryTerrr (talk) 00:44, 8 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to violate Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy by adding commentary and your personal analysis into articles, as you did at Adult & Teen Challenge, you may be blocked from editing. Your opinion is irrelevant....so is mine. The only opinions we present are those published in reliable sources, which we quote and attribute. Your edits are in violation of a Wikipedia pillar policy. As far as your aspersions you are casting towards me you can shove them square up your ass. John from Idegon (talk) 01:02, 8 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you violate Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy by inserting commentary or your personal analysis into an article, as you did at Adult & Teen Challenge. John from Idegon (talk) 02:15, 8 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Unblock Request[edit]

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

TerrryTerrr (block logactive blocksglobal blockscontribsdeleted contribsfilter logcreation logchange block settingsunblockcheckuser (log))

Request reason:

I've been blocked last year due to getting into an editing conflict with another user on a certain page. Or, mild abuse of my editing privileges to put it formally. While I admit that I've been mistaken and I apologize for my actions, I believe my punishment has been too harsh. I've been blocked for a while already, therefore I request the length of my block to be reviewed. If an unblock is granted or at least the length of my block will be shortened, I can assure you that such actions will not recur and I will keep editing in good faith, as I've been doing for almost five years now. TerrryTerrr (talk) 16:41, 25 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

This doesn't address your harassment. I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that

  • the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
  • the block is no longer necessary because you
    1. understand what you have been blocked for,
    2. will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
    3. will make useful contributions instead.

Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. Yamla (talk) 16:56, 25 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Last year I have been blocked for harassment of the user John from Idegon. And abuse of editing privileges? That's what it says. It might have been correct to block me as I really did mildly harass the honorable user in a moment of frusturation, and I'm genuinely sorry, and this will not happen again. For almost five years now I've only been editing in good faith, therefore I believe an indenfinite block has been to severe of a punishment, especially so considering I had no previous blocks. I've served my time for long enough now, more than a year, and I'm ready to return to editing. TerrryTerrr (talk) 23:12, 30 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Admins, just tell me, whatever I do and say here, it's of no use anymore, right? Please see my appeal above. And note that I didn't do any disruptive editing with the socks. I'm here to build an encyclopedia, not to argue with admins about a dumb block which arose a year ago because I hurt some guy's feelings. TerrryTerrr (talk) 09:16, 31 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

You're not allowed to sock at all when you're blocked, and you will never be coming back unless you change the attitude you are showing here. Your talk page access has been removed - you can ask for it back at WP:UTRS after you have gone six months with no socking. Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 11:10, 31 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
