ArbCom 2017 election voter message

[edit]

Hello, Throup. Voting in the 2017 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 10 December. All users who registered an account before Saturday, 28 October 2017, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Wednesday, 1 November 2017 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2017 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 18:42, 3 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Ride Upon the Storm moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Ride Upon the Storm, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Your draft article, Draft:Ride Upon the Storm

[edit]

Hello, Throup. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Ride Upon the Storm".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. CptViraj (📧) 08:36, 5 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Matilda Ziegler

[edit]

You added an entry to the television portion of Matilda Ziegler's filmography. You added the 2003 TV movie ''Home.'' When adding entries, if there are multiple for a year already, you change the rowspan number accordingly. Since there were two, you would change it to three. You didn't like to the article of said TV movie in the filmography. You only linked to it in the edit summary. You're supposed to link to it in the filmography. I fixed the entry. If you're unsure of how to do things, there are resources to help you. Plus, you can ask for help. Mr. C.C.Hey yo!I didn't do it! 18:23, 13 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the feedback, but I didn't add the filmography entry... it looks like someone called Mr. C.C. added it in 2022 commit 😉
In any case, it looks like you are putting a lot of love into the article, so good job 🙂. throup 09:56, 14 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
You know people can see what's been done to the article via the edit history, right? On June 11, you did add that entry. You put in the edit summary "Wikilink to [[Home (2003 film)]]. There is no need to deny it when it's right there in the history. Mr. C.C.Hey yo!I didn't do it! 10:04, 14 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I am not denying adding the missing wikilink to the "Television and film career" section. Feel free to look at the edit history yourself - maybe start with 28 April 2022, where you added the entry to the Filmography section 😉
As you said, everybody can see the edit history, so I don't want to enter into an argument with you about historical facts. throup 10:10, 14 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
My mistake, I was looking at the wrong thing. I know the edits I've made, so I thought you might have made an unconstructive edit to the filmography. Sometimes I try to specific as to what which section I make edits to if necessary. Oh and you didn't link to the article in the filmography. I did after noticing your edit summary. Mr. C.C.Hey yo!I didn't do it! 18:54, 14 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
