A tag has been placed on Frederick Weining, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. If you plan to provide more material to the article, I advise you to do so immediately, and also put a note on Talk:Frederick Weining. An administrator should check for such edits before deleting the article. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Please read our criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 1 under Articles. Please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources which verify their content. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and then immediately add such material.24.20.69.240 05:40, 10 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Gregg distributors[edit]

Some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article Gregg distributors may not be sufficiently well-known to merit articles of their own. The Wikipedia community welcomes newcomers, and encourages them to become Wikipedians. On Wikipedia, all users are entitled to a user page in which they can describe themselves, and this article's content may be incorporated into that page. However, to merit inclusion in the encyclopedia proper, a subject must be notable. We encourage you to write or improve articles on notable subjects. -- Longhair\talk 12:27, 10 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Kyle Vokes, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable (see the guidelines for notability here). If you can indicate why the subject of this article is notable, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please write {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself.

Please read the criteria for speedy deletion (specifically, articles #7) and our general biography criteria. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. GringoInChile 12:33, 10 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not remove speedy deletion tags from articles that you have created yourself. If you do not believe the article deserves to be deleted, then please place {{hangon}} on the page and make your case on the article's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Thank you. --Rettetast 12:38, 10 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not remove speedy deletion tags yourself. The proper thing to do is to use the template {{hangon}}. --WikiSlasher 13:04, 10 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add nonsense to Wikipedia, as you did to the Cold Lake, Alberta page. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. Rettetast 09:09, 24 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop. If you continue to vandalize pages, as you did to New World warbler, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Rettetast 09:14, 24 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for Image:L-daba903-1-.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:L-daba903-1-.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 20:10, 28 February 2007 (UTC)

What's that book you're mentioning in the Kovrov article? Author, ISBN (if it ever had one), original language, etc should be mentioned, otherwise the link is sort of useful and not verifiable. Vmenkov 05:33, 18 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Boeing Condor[edit]

Your edits to Boeing Condor seems to have been copied directly from the reference that you listed. You should not do that in Wikipedia. --Astroview120mm 02:54, 11 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

An exciting opportunity to get involved![edit]

As a member of the Aviation WikiProject or one of its subprojects, you may be interested in testing your skills in the Aviation Contest! I created this contest, not to pit editor against editor, but to promote article improvement and project participation and camraderie. Hopefully you will agree with its usefulness. Sign up here, read up on the rules here, and discuss the contest here. The first round of the contest may not start until September 1st-unless a large number of editors signup and are ready to compete immediately! Since this contest is just beginning, please give feedback here, or let me know what you think on my talkpage. - Trevor MacInnis contribs 05:58, 23 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Focke-Wulf Fw 62 requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. I removed the tag there was plenty of context in the original article to identify the subject of the article. I do not believe the article would survive an WP:AFD discussion. With only 4 aircraft ever built I do not believe it is notable. At this point I won't nominate it for deletion, I will wait to see if anything can be found. --A new name 2008 (talk) 02:34, 30 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article AN/ALQ-128 has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fails WP:GNG. Already mentioned in similar level of detail in the F-15 Eagle article.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.

This bot DID NOT nominate any of your contributions for deletion; please refer to the history of each individual page for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 09:00, 24 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
