Thanks for that (unfortunately, the link you supplied is red). But I actually like the ones put in with <math> ... </math> better, as they're larger (like so: E). The other ones are really tiny. What do you think? +ILike2BeAnonymous 18:42, 10 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hey

[edit]

Ignore some of my previous edits. Some people i know were hacking into my account (probably as a result of my password being "password").

Hopefully the name change will stop people finding this page so easily.

Please do not add commentary or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Thierry Henry. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Thank you. NeilN talkcontribs 01:17, 19 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for repeated abuse of editing privileges. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest this block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} below, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first. Request reason:

Indefinitely? That's a bit harsh. I have done some good work for wikipedia in the past. I'm sure you can understand the circumstances of the vandalism (not that i'm saying you should think what i did was right, but understand that normally i would not be a vandal). This thing will have blown over in a few months. I don't see why my block can't be downgraded to a temporary ban. An indefinite ban will just lead to me creating a new account.

Decline reason:

We do not react to threats of sockpuppetry. Any sockpuppets by you will also be blocked. In any subsequent unblock request, you must explain why you vandalized Wikipedia and convince us that you won't do so again. See WP:GAB.  Sandstein  10:25, 20 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Still blocked?

Request reason:

I still think an indefinite ban was rather harsh for one incidince of vandalism (which i still think was wholly justified). Getting the thierry henry page to fully-protected status helped express the outrage of a nation who were cheated out of a place at the world cup. Believe it or not the coordinated vandalism on that particular page on that particular night/early morning actually made it into the international news (aswell as the invasion of the facebook fan pages). If sacrificing my account was the result it was a price worth paying (although i do think it is a bad reflection on wikipedia to block pages indefinitely for one incidence of vandalism). Regardless, I will continue to contribute to wikipedia with my new account like none of this ever happened. ps. The user above looks kinda silly after his statement of confidence that any new accounts i create WILL be banned :D

Decline reason:

You mistakenly confuse the word "indefinite" with "infinite". You had full ability to read the guide to appealing blocks, and even reading the five cornerstones of Wikipedia and becoming unblocked. Instead, you claim that you were right, and with much bravado you brag of WP:EVADE. You clearly care little for the same principles of "sportsmanship" that you claim to uphold.
