Five pillars of Wikipedia

This test is going to be based on questions. One word "Yes" or "No" answers are unacceptable. I want to see some evidence of a thought process. There's no time limit - answer in your own words and we'll talk about your answers.

1. Q - You have just been told by your friend that Muhammadu Buhari got married to Janet Jones 5 years ago. Can you add this to the Muhammadu Buhari article and why?

A -No, because is not from a reliable source.  passed. Informations from friends or any family members are generally not considered reliable.

2. Q - Vanguard Newspaper for example published a content that which you see as clearly defamatory to Osun State Government. Can you include this content to the Osun State Government article? Why?

A -No, because anything that is against the reputaion of a person or any organisation is nt welcome on wikipedia. failed. It can be included since Vanguard newspaper is a reliable source but such content should be included with common sense.

3. Q - Would you consider The Punch a reliable source on Bola Tinubu? Would you consider The Punch to be a reliable source on its rival, Vanguard? Why?

A -Yes, because is a reliable source and no, because both are reliable source so none is more reliable than the other.

 passed. The Punch is a reliable source and can be used on the article. Both Vanguard and The Punch are national dallies. The punch is not in anyway more reliable than Vanguard.

4. Q - Would you consider Olu Jacobs's official Facebook page a reliable source? Why?

A-No,social network, blog or forum are not consider reliable souce in wikipedia and also any source that is self published is general considered unreliable.

 passed. Facebook, blogs, Youtube, Instagram and all other social media are generally not considered a reliable source.

5. Q - Would the official website of the Lagos State House of Assembly be a secondary source to establish the notability of Desmond Elliot?

A-yes, because is a politician but more sources maybe required.

 passed. The official website of the Lagos State House of Assembly can establish his notability but more sources are needed to write a decent article.

6. Q - Would you have any issue with using the About Us page on Unilever as a source for the history section of the Unilever article.

A -Yes,because any self published source is considered unreliable. failed. Editors shouldn't have issues with using the "About us" but the entire section should not solely depend on that alone.

7. Q - Would you have any problem with "Youtube" link being used in a music-related article?

A -No, because is a reliable source for music and videos. failed. Youtube can be used provided there are more reliable sources that supported the claim. Although Youtube is not a reliable source.

8. Q - Everybody knows that the sky is blue right? An editor doesn't agree - he says it is bronze, do you need a source?

A -Yes, because all wikipedia article are based on neutrality that is personal opinion is not welcome. So new sources are require. passed. Yes, reliable sources are needed.

9. Q - Everybody knows Muhammadu Buhari took over from Goodluck Jonathan right? An editor doesn't agree - he says it is Olusegun Obasanjo, do you need a source?

A -Yes,because neutral point of view is required on wikipedia sources are require. passed. Reliable sources are often used to validate claims.

10. Q - We all agreed that The Punch is a reliable source but you found the same sources for a Newspaper columnist who is an employee of The punch. Will you consider the columnist notable?  failed. No! Such sources are primary sources and usually not enough to establish notability. A columnist don't get freebies article on Wikipedia simply because they appears on the homepage of their employer.
