Welcome![edit]

Hello, Wseef, and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as Textile Mills, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines, and may not be retained.

There's a page about creating articles you may want to read called Your first article. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the Teahouse, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{help me}} on this page, followed by your question, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Questions or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 15:12, 4 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Your contributed article, Textile Mills[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, Textile Mills. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – Textile manufacturing. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Textile manufacturing – you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.

If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 15:12, 4 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Teahouse talkback: you've got messages![edit]

Hello, Wseef. Your question has been answered at the Teahouse Q&A board. Feel free to reply there!
Please note that all old questions are archived after 2-3 days of inactivity. Message added by Ikhtiar H (talk) 10:22, 6 March 2016 (UTC). (You can remove this notice at any time by removing the {{teahouse talkback}} template).[reply]

Some notes[edit]

Hi Wseef! I noticed that you added your signature to Sadhar in this edit. I've removed it because you should only use signatures on talk pages when signing your comments. Articles shouldn't be signed because all the authors of a page are automatically recorded in the page history; for example, this would be the page history for the article Sadhar. In addition, signing an article would suggest ownership of an article, which is an idea we try to avoid since the encyclopedia is a collaborative environment, and most articles are usually edited by more than one person. (See Wikipedia:Signatures for more information on using signatures.)

Also, I noticed that you have the {{Master Editor II Userbox}} template on your user page. If you follow the "Master Editor II" link in the userbox, you will notice that it is meant to be used by editors who have made at least 51,000 edits and have been editing for at least 7 years. According to your account information here, you have only made about 42 edits, and your account is only 6 days old. Although you are allowed to place any service award templates on your user page, placing one that does not apply to you is generally discouraged since it suggests that you may be untruthful, and others may be less likely to take you seriously.

Just some things I wanted to let you know; I hope you find this to be helpful. CabbagePotato (talk) 00:08, 11 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

UAF Community College[edit]

Hello. I turned UAF Community College into a redirect to University of Agriculture (Faisalabad), because you did not source any of the material, amongst other issues. If you want to restore the article and add sources, it's there in the page history. Cordless Larry (talk) 22:02, 6 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, but I've had to revert the article back to being a redirect, as the references you recently added contained non-existent links. The wording you had used was also too promotional for an encyclopedia article. Please see WP:NPOV. Cordless Larry (talk) 07:33, 5 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Missing[edit]

Hi- I saw your comment on User:Catfish Jim and the soapdish, and I've been on very restricted time on the Wikipedia-- having my bowels explode while awaiting to be seen in the hospital's emergency room, sending me into a coma for more than 2-3 months. It never occurred to me that our friend Catfish might have had a similar experience or just given up on the Wikipedia but I see no interaction with anyone on his talk page and it's been true for over a year at least, with the exception of his routine delivery of The Signpost. I do not have the time or stamina to check and see when he dropped out of sight. Can you check into it and drop me a note on my talk page? --Leahtwosaints (talk) 22:55, 11 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Asian 10,000 Challenge invite[edit]

Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Asia/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge and Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like South East Asia, Japan/China or India etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. At some stage we hope to run some contests to benefit Asian content, a destubathon perhaps, aimed at reducing the stub count would be a good place to start, based on the current Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon which has produced near 200 articles in just three days. If you would like to see this happening for Asia, and see potential in this attracting more interest and editors for the country/countries you work on please sign up and being contributing to the challenge! This is a way we can target every country of Asia, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant! Thank you. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 05:00, 21 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. We're into the last five days of the Women in Red World Contest. There's a new bonus prize of $200 worth of books of your choice to win for creating the most new women biographies between 0:00 on the 26th and 23:59 on 30th November. If you've been contributing to the contest, thank you for your support, we've produced over 2000 articles. If you haven't contributed yet, we would appreciate you taking the time to add entries to our articles achievements list by the end of the month. Thank you, and if participating, good luck with the finale!

Happy First Edit Day![edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Parcel Crew requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company, corporation or organization that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. There are other such courier services also, why don't you remove them? Wseef (talk) 14:19, 15 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

For starters, WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS. Further, any others which have existed for a month, claim more than 1000 employees, but have not been written about even once? Fram (talk) 14:35, 15 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
