Edits to Finding Nemo

[edit]

Please see Wikipedia's no personal attacks policy. Comment on content, not on contributors; personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Note that continued personal attacks may lead to blocks for disruption. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you.

Specifically, please see the definition of widower[1]. It is the male form of "widow," and the verb form applies to both sexes. --Snicker|¥°| 15:46, 21 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I've reverted some changes you made to the above-referenced article. Please discuss on the talk page if you wish to see them restored. Cheers, ObiterDicta ( pleadingserrataappeals ) 05:00, 24 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You seem to have a history with that article. Why not try a dose of WP:TIGERS? ObiterDicta ( pleadingserrataappeals ) 05:02, 24 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Misleading edit summaries

[edit]

Please see WP:VANDAL for what constitutes vandalism. Your edit here was not a removal of vandalism and should not have been classified this way. Please make sure your edit summaries actually reflect the edits you make. Seraphimblade Talk to me Please review me! 05:02, 24 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Vandalism is defined as anything which intentionally lowers the integrity of the article. Somebody writing "... would have to prove that the universe was not crafted by a race of space aliens" was clearly written to do just that.

Cross-space redirects

[edit]

Please don't create cross-space redirects such as Candidates for Speedy deletion. Thanks, NawlinWiki 12:31, 29 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ok ~ I understand this "rule" now. Thanks

Yoda921 12:44, 29 April 2007 (UTC)Yoda[reply]

Your summary comment here borders on a personal attack. I think Filll is well aware of neutral POV on articles. In fact, I found some of your edits to have violate NPOV, although I chose to not get into an edit war with you. Orangemarlin 05:03, 30 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I wouldn't really consider it to be a "personal attack" per se; do you think that "Mulder repeats the same creationist critiques of evolution that have been dismissed by science for decades. " (unsourced) qualifies as a NPOV statement, even if it was repeated on another website?

The Case for Faith

[edit]

I removed the link you added to The Case for Faith. I do not believe it was an appropriate link as per WP:EL. If you disagree, please leave a message for me on my talk page and we can discuss the issue. Note, though, that linking to non-official commercial sites such as this is almost never permitted. See also WP:SPAM. --Yamla 16:23, 8 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It doesn't really matter - although calling it "Spam" was probably going a bit far.

Request for mediation

[edit]

A request for mediation has been filed with the Mediation Committee that lists you as a party. The Mediation Committee requires that all parties listed in a mediation must be notified of the mediation. Please review the request at Wikipedia:Requests for mediation/Kent Hovind, and indicate whether you agree or disagree to mediation. If you are unfamiliar with mediation on Wikipedia, please refer to Wikipedia:Mediation. Please note there is a seven-day time limit on all parties responding to the request with their agreement or disagreement to mediation. Thanks, Daniel 13:18, 12 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I was actually quite concerned when I saw the title of this post. ;)

Warcraft character's AfDs

[edit]

When posting responses to deletion canditates on their AfDs, please keep in mind the suggestions on WP:AADD. In particular you have been dismissing the need to give a reasoned argument in favor of simply stating your opinion with no reasons given as to why the articles have merit. The policy guidelines are available for users to decide whether or not any entry is within the scope of the wikipedia project. Bobby1011 02:54, 6 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Redirect of Prince Kael

[edit]

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Prince Kael, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Prince Kael is a redirect to a non-existent page (CSD R1).

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Prince Kael, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. Great Jedi Purge and Order 66

[edit]

Best DarthSidious, the Great Jedi Purge is not self Order 66, Order 66 was but a part of the Great Jedi Purge. Tim Auke Kools (talk) 19:42, 14 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
