Re:Talk pages

[edit]

I encourage you to look at Wikipedia:Talk page guidelines. It clearly states here that it's appropriate to remove comments if they are irrelevant to improving the article. The section that I removed has nothing to do with improving the article, it is simply a (now blocked) user asking how to smuggle endangered species corpses into the civilized world. That is illegal and there is no way that information is going in the article. We don't have a Wikipedia article about how to rob a bank. Dtm142 02:17, 6 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

And that has what to do with the article attached to the page? Wikipedia is not a how to. Dtm142 20:39, 6 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

SCI page

[edit]

Good call on removing those HSUS references. I didn't even notice them I was so focused on the new additions. This whole SCI page could use review, particularly the references. I've left a couple of notes on discussion and no one ever replies. In all, I think there should be a section about endangered species, but two sets of bad references don't make one good one! "Conservation"

[edit]

Please stop attempting to insert your point of view into the hunting article. Just because you think that hunters have tried to conserve animals doesn't mean it's true. Killing animals is not conservation. I saw from your user page that you enjoy hunting. I think it's cruel and pointless to kill things for recreation. There are two points of view. They should both be displayed so that the world isn't decieved into thinking that shooting things and nailing their heads to your wall is conservation. And PS- which one of us is really POV pushing here? Think on that. Ronald Wenonah (talk) 14:38, 27 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The fact that I enjoy hunting does not mean that your edits were not completely POV and entirety uncited as evidenced by the removal of your changes by other editors and the comments on the Hunting talk page. Think on that... Zonedar (talk) 21:03, 6 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
