Try moving the image back and forth sideways (In a larger zoom). You can see the horizon rise and fall. I think its appropriate for this kind of image. A curve too drastic would decrease the image's quality. Spencer^T♦^C 22:28, 12 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The earth may be round, but the curvature of the earth is not going to be visible until you get to a significant altitude, never mind sea level. A scene such as this should certainly have a flat horizon for enc value as it would not have appeared curved to the naked eye. We would oppose a curved land horizon for sure, and a sea horizon should be the same. If the image were taken from several tens of thousands feet then a properly visible curve might be acceptable. Weak Oppose Decent EV, but poor time of day for photography - the lighting is just too harsh with bright roofs, unappealing skyline and strong shadows. Also there appears to be some posterization in the sky (~1000px from the LHS) --Fir0002 04:10, 13 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
