Michigan State University[edit]

Main page Articles
Michigan State University History of Michigan State University - Campus of Michigan State University - Michigan State University academics - Michigan State Spartans - List of Michigan State University people
  • This is a real gem; perhaps one of the best series not currently on the list. Every article is well referenced, and the series is rounded out by two FAs and at least 2 GA-worthy articles. — Deckiller 04:20, 21 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Note: this is not a super-topic; these are the subarticles that immediately branch off of the main page, so they are the primary subtopics. — Deckiller 06:59, 21 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  • Comment - Alright, going through in order, I see a well-referenced FA, another well-referenced FA, an okay article, and three good articles, possibly GA candidates. I'd like to see Campus of Michigan State University be a little better before I decide one way or the other. --PresN 17:10, 22 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment since the campus article is not very necessary, will we get support if it's removed from the nom? — Deckiller 09:07, 31 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support - The campus article should be kept; I think that that article is solid enough to avoid being a notable gap in the topic. --Arctic Gnome 17:48, 15 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support as nom? — Deckiller 23:41, 23 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment List of Michigan State University people lets the topic down. LuciferMorgan 21:42, 26 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • slight support Only one of them are a featured article with the star but good collection though.--Superplaya
  • Object due to the underreferencing at List of Michigan State University people. Tuf-Kat 02:50, 30 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • Too bad the topic can't be featured without that list, unless people think that it won't violate any criterion to remove it from the topic candidate. — Deckiller 20:29, 30 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
    • I think the list of people is just trivia, and wouldn't create a gap if it was removed. If you want to take it out as the nominator, I'll still support the topic. --Arctic Gnome (talkcontribs) 16:18, 8 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
      • List has been taken out. — Deckiller 17:27, 8 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support each of the articles is well sourced and written and several are of at least potential GA quality and the remainder is good enough plus the FA articles. Darthgriz98 17:47, 8 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • After seven weeks this finally has four support votes, and the only objection has been delt with. I think we can promote this, but since I'm the one who suggested the modification in the topic, someone other than myself or Deckiller should officially declare this as passed. I can still do the work of promoting it if you want. --Arctic Gnome (talkcontribs) 23:00, 8 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • Pass - This has been here long enough with the only objection being addressed that I think I can get away with passing it. --Arctic Gnome (talkcontribs) 18:26, 16 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
