Infobox birth place convention

For a person born in Hong Kong after 1 July 1997, I'm assuming the birthplace in the infobox should be just "Hong Kong", not "Hong Kong, China" or "Hong Kong SAR, China" - can someone confirm? Is there an MOS passage on this somewhere?

Also, should we be going down to the district level in the infobox, or just stop at "Hong Kong"? RachelTensions (talk) 08:53, 17 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
