Keep. It is not clear from the user's talk page that he has "uploaded several others with patently false copyright information", but rather he seems to upload images without any indication of copyright status. This image is different, however, as he watermarked it with his own name and later indicated on his talk page that he took the photo. Unless we can demonstrate that the image was not taken by him, I do not believe that there is any reason here to doubt that he is the creator of the image. --Skeezix1000 11:16, 12 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I read the conversation on the talk page. You are correct and I withdraw my nomination with respect to this image. As for others with patently false copyright information, see Image:Rtc-2.jpg, Logo vdq g.gif (which I have fixed), and Image:Quebeccity-panorama.jpg (was tagged as PD-US). Also, see Image:Skylinevilledequebec-panorama.jpg and Image:836.jpg, which are probably really copyrighted, but because there are no sources given, there is no way to know. I made a mistake of not looking closely enough with this one image in particular - I saw all of the other false tags, saw the cropped copyright notice, and didn't go any further.
