July 14[edit]

Uploaded by Gooday.1 (notify). Rather useless fanmade sign. --SPUI (T - C) 20:38, 14 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Uploaded by Maclyn611 (notify). Labeled a PD photo, but it really doesn't look like a photo to me. It looks like a fair use logo, an orphaned one, and thus subject to deletion.- BigDT 03:59, 14 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Uploaded by 159753 (notify). Copyvio, description claims both copyright and PD, copyright notice present in the picture itself. - (), 05:51, 14 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  • Image:Gerd von rundstedt.jpg The image was taken from german Wikipedia two years ago. Meanwhile the image is deleted from german Wikipedia because the PD-status cannot be confirmed. --Philopp 07:58, 14 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I am the originator/uploader of the above listed images. The article they were part of has been AfDed. They are now orphaned and there is no longer any reason for them to remain in the database. I request their immediate deletion. Thank-you. -- Jason Palpatine 05:31, 14 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The above were copied and pasted from the main IFD page. They appear to have already been speedied. 70.161.98.179 11:56, 14 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

    • Speedy delete - FYI, for a speedy deletion of a page where you were the only author, you can tag the page with {{db-author}} to request that an administrator delete it. It is not necessary to list it here.
    • Thanks, I added that tag to the page. Ouuplas 22:53, 14 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Uploaded by Eamon Collins (notify). UE, OR - a photo of Maryland's head coach, Gary Williams, obviously not taken on one of his better days. The photo was the subject of a revert war on the Gary Williams article and seems to be of little encyclopedic use. Unless there is a verifiable source describing the circumstances of the photo, its use in the article would constitute original research and thus be inappropriate. Further, since [1] has a higher quality version of the photo ([2]) and he himself in his upload description gives the URL he downloaded the image from, the uploader's assertion that he is the original author is almost certainly incorrect and the photo is a copyright violation.- BigDT 22:39, 14 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
