July 19[edit]

One of a whole series of images taken from Atomic Fire. Nominator asserts that they're insufficiently sourced. - A Man In Bl♟ck (conspire | past ops) 16:10, 19 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  • Image:Goguryeo h.gif Unencyclopedic: Image is a map that is of dubious accuracy or source -Cal_guy talk
    • Contest. Dubious accuracy or source makes it a copyright problem, not unencyclopedic. Many users have made pretty accurate maps. However, if you suspect it's not created by this user, why do you think so? Or are you saying the map is inaccurate? I find it surprising they had such large colonies outside of Korea too, but perhaps this is factual? Elle vécut heureuse à jamais (Be eudaimonic!) 16:26, 19 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
    • I vote to delete since this image is inaccurate according to the history of the region, for an accurate image, see Image:Three_Kingdoms_of_Korea_Map.png, also the user:Breathejustice has been inserting his own POV into the Manchu and Manchuria articles. 64.12.116.6 18:30, 19 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
    • I vote to delete also. The details in the map are unsourced, and have Korean names in China and Japan (which may be against Wikipedia naming conventions). The extent of the "Baekje Empire" is grossly overexaggerated and unsourced. The details of Japan during their prehistoric times are seemingly impossible, and appear to be unsourced as well.--Endroit 19:51, 19 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
    • I also vote to delete as this map is totally inaccurate as the boundaries are overexaggerated and it also reeks of ultranationalism, ie. Japan, Sakhalin, and eastern China being shown as either Korean territory or as Korean colonies. Abstrakt 22:51, 19 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
    • I vote to delete since this image is inaccurate. It is solely seen from a biased and non-academic perspective on the history of the region and it should not be used as a factual historical map. --Godardesque 23:05, 19 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
