where to start... clearly spurious claim of "i made it myself" (copyright watermarking is clear on both pics). And the only reason these two hard porn photos were uploaded was so as they could be added to a (twice speedied and now protected) attack page. Can't see any way they quite qualify under speedy criteria, but hopefully someone will spot how they can. Grutness...wha? 04:37, 28 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Well all of the copyright rules in WP:CSD, not to mention vandalism. Speedy deleted. ed g2stalk 11:15, 28 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Uploaded by SportsFan411 (notify). CV. Free alternate can be taken. —fuzzy510 06:09, 28 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Do not delete. There is no valid reason for deletion. There is no current free alternative and fair use is acceptable in that case for use in demonstrating an article. So unless you're going to upload a "free" image of the Talledega raceway there is no basis for this deletion. Gateman1997 18:06, 28 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
And the lack of a free alternative right now means that one must be created, not that a non-free image should be used in its place. --fuzzy510 18:29, 28 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
True, one should be created. But this should be kept until one is to illustrate the image. Gateman1997 19:13, 28 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
In the meantime though, it's still a copyright violation. I agree that there should be an image there, but we still need to operate within the Fair Use rules. --fuzzy510 01:04, 29 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
And at the current time we are. That is unless you're willing to fly to Arizona, buy a ticket, and take a picture of this stadium? Gateman1997 07:04, 30 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
The stadium is there - someone can take a picture of it, like one of the many Wikipedians who live in Arizona. --fuzzy510 21:57, 30 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
How is this fair use? No rationale. No source. No copyright holder stated. Tagged as promotional but looks like it comes from news coverage. This a long way short of what counts as fair use. TheGrappler 16:31, 31 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

      • I have asked the creator of this picture to update its license.--Computor 11:20, 2 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
        • Invalid nom. The upload date pre-dates the fair-use ban and the license was with permission for Wikipedia explicitly anyways. I updated the license, but there was nothing wrong with that license when it was uploaded. It was uploaded and licensed before the "fair use ban". It's the "permission" part of that license that was all that mattered. SchmuckyTheCat 15:48, 2 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
          • Since this was created by a Wikipedian, I'll keep this image for now. Instead, I've tagged image with {{fair use replace}}. howcheng {chat} 18:34, 8 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Comment - At the very least, the image page needs a better listing of the source. Just referencing nascar.com isn't good enough, as that's a HUGE page. --cholmes75 (chit chat) 20:18, 28 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Do not delete, Restating my objections from above. No free alternative is available at this time. And using it is acceptable within fair use if you'd read it. Gateman1997 06:47, 29 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
