By convention (that is, unwritten norm, for which there is no source, but since I am familiar with the Australian practice you can take my and other Australians' word for it, it is true - if you want side evidence you can testify to the lack of even copyrighted photos on photo websites, such as Flickr and the like - there are simply no photos of this judge) they DO NOT APPEAR IN PUBLIC except by official invitations where photos are not usually allowed and in the court room, and by law by law it is illegal to take photos or cameras in court. Comparisons with Justice Michael Kirby are invalid, because that judge is a distinct exception to the above rule due to the human rights work he took on before he came on the bench and which he continues to do. I ask the closing moderator not to import American conventions onto Australian judges - the situations are markedly different and the situation I have described should be evaluated on its own merits and not according to conventions that do not apply to the Australian situation. Keep. I think the point is that the maps are not reliable or accurate enough for use with navigation systems, not that commercial use of the maps is prohibited. It's sort of like the scales you can buy that say "NOT FOR TRADE" - it's not a licensing restriction, they're just covering their asses in case someone tries to use a rough guide in a context where something highly precise is called for. —Angr 16:17, 27 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the debate was Deleted, we say it's from German Wikipedia, but de says it's from English Wikipedia, and it was deleted from Commons for being "fair use".   • Image was uploaded at some point in time before the upload log existed. In Aug. 2004 it was copied to the German Wikipedia (de:Bild:ErricoMalatesta.jpg) without information about the author or original source. In Jan 2006 the image was deleted due to unconfirmed copyright status. Only 4 days later it was uploaded again with the comment "from German Wikipedia".
