Mona the Vampire children book series?

[edit]

I think that the Mona the Vampire article and the show itself have made it clear to me that the show is based on a series of children books. Is this true? The article says very little about the book series, and the series lacks its own article. Where can I find more information about this, or better, read the books themselves? I'm really into the show now, so I would love to know this. — Preceding unsigned comment added by MadisonGrundtvig (talkcontribs) 03:02, 24 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The books are still available: on Amazon.com, for instance. -Karenjc (talk) 08:34, 24 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

It worked before, and sounded like some generic big-band-like tune. I didn't recognize it. ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots18:15, 24 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Well, going blind into final jeopardy, I'll bet it all on In The Mood. μηδείς (talk) 01:43, 25 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
It wasn't that. It was just some generic repetition of something intended to sound like Big Band. Whether it was an actual vintage number, I couldn't tell. That's a nice rendition of "In the Mood", though. Take a gander at this one:[1]Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots03:51, 26 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
It's just a stab in the dark, but it sounds as if the piano has prominence, so it could be by Count Basie, Duke Ellington, or one of their imitators - Oscar Petersen, for example. --TammyMoet (talk) 12:15, 26 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
..in which case I would have expected it to be recorded, and most probably be recognized by Shazam. It wasn't, so I suspect it is a more recent, live performance. --109.189.65.217 (talk) 20:01, 26 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
