I'm not sure but I think Sandon may have been a city prior to World War I; it's a remote ghost town now but formerly was the main city in the West Kootenay/Slocan....other boomtowns like Phoenix might have had incorporation; most, like Ocean Falls, Bralorne, Premier and Cassiar were company towns only (no municipal government, run by the company). I've added Sumas, Matsqui, Dewdney and Kinnaird which were formerly municipalities (all but Dewdney which is now unincorporated are now parts of larger municipalities). There will be others of that kind, this is just a heads-up that there are various former municipalities out there that in time will need articles, or at least redirects.Skookum1 (talk) 18:27, 7 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
