Wiki formating[edit]

Hi there. There are a counter-intuitive things you should learn about wiki formatting. Since a fundamental goal of wikipedia is to create a set of interconnected pages, we try to make intra-wiki linking as easy as possible. Please use this type of link rather than the generic external link form when linking to other pages in the wiki. We use double brackets: [[Wikipedia:School and university projects/English4994]] yields the following: Wikipedia:School and university projects/English4994. You can also display link text that is not the name of the page yuo are linking to. Look at the changes I made as an example.

Another oddity: pages that are in mainspace (i.e., those whose names do not start with a keyword followed by a colon) cannot have "subpages" while those in othre namespaces (User:, Wikipedia:, etc.) may have subpages. You creae a subpage by appending a slash followed by the name of hte subpage. Thus, this page (English4994) is a subpage of the page Wikipedia talk:School and university projects. Mostly, you can ignore this distinction, but you may choose to create additional subpages of your page to help organize your project.
