  • Suggested addition: 1968 - assassination attempt on Rudi Dutschke, the most prominent leader of the German student movement, by anti-communist Josef Bachman. Dutschke survived but died 11 years later as a result of health problems caused by his injuries. pseudonym Jake Brockman talk 10:07, 9 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
    • @Jake Brockman: Unfortunately, one of the section is lacking in references, which makes the article ineligible for inclusion. howcheng {chat} 16:00, 9 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
      • @Howcheng: thanks for checking. I have added some references which help support the section. One is an article from the Washington Post, one from the German Spiegel (which was actually one of the journals he was opposing at the time. The third is from a Biography written by his former wife. I hope this helps. pseudonym Jake Brockman talk 18:26, 9 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
        • @Jake Brockman: I added {{citation needed}} tags to statements I felt needed to be cited. If you can supply those, you will be good to go. Thanks. howcheng {chat} 18:38, 9 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
          • @Howcheng: done. Some are in German or Danish unfortunately. I removed one section which seems unencyclopaedic (mentions of his name in popular culture - this is not really sourced well and seems somewhat off-topic). pseudonym Jake Brockman talk 19:40, 9 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
            • @Jake Brockman: Non-English sources are not a problem. Good work! howcheng {chat} 02:11, 10 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
              • @Howcheng: Thanks. Having slept on it, I'd suggest a change to the teaser text. I think the most notable outcome is not his death 11 years later, but the assassination attempt being the catalyst for the biggest wave of (sometimes violent) street protests in German history to that date.pseudonym Jake Brockman talk 06:33, 10 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
