What about characters that only appeared in canonical (comic)books... --Allycat 07:58, 2 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Appearances[edit]

I really feel that this a pointless section. A perfect example being Doc's article, who Che pointed to as an example of applying the character template: an entire section for no more than three sentences (and lets face it, there probably isn't a single character that will go far beyond this in terms of the explaining that hir appearances envolves) is silly, and frankly, it ends up clumsy and pointless. I suggest either

  • including appearances in the intro. Taking Doc as an example again, it'd end up something like Doc is a fictional character in the American television series Buffy: the Vampire Slayer. He is played by Joel Grey. (etc. etc.), and black eyes. Doc first appeared on the show in the episode "Forever", and remained a supporting character(or something along these lines)until season five's final episode, "The Gift".
  • or including them in characters' story. Again, exemplifying:
(under Story)
  • Doc first appeared on the show in the episode "Forever". His final episode was "The Gift". During this time he was a supporting character.
When Dawn is mourning the death of her mother, Spike takes her to Doc. Doc is happy to help; unsettling so. He recommends a powerful spell with rare components. Dawn attempts the spell, but it is ultimately aborted.
Later Spike brings Xander to Doc for more information, this time about Glory. (etc. etc. etc. yada yada and so on).

Opinions? If not, I'll start reworking "appearances" into the intros (which I view as the best solution, personally). Come on and speak your minds if there's a problem with this. Zeppocity 19:10, 9 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]
