Major League Baseball team season
The 2024 Chicago White Sox season is the club's 125th season in Chicago , their 124th in the American League and their 34th at Guaranteed Rate Field . It is their first full season under general manager Chris Getz . They attempt to improve from their 61–101 season from the previous year – as of April 25, they have opened with a 3–22 record, the worst to that mark in franchise history.
On June 6, after a 14-2 loss against the Boston Red Sox , the White Sox set a franchise record for most consecutive losses with 14.
