Welcome to the sixth Bugle edition for 2018!

TomStar81 has contributed another pair of fine articles to mark the centenary of World War I. His op-ed covers the Paris Gun which shelled that city during 1918 and was probably the largest artillery gun used in the war. Tom's second article is the latest update in his vast World War I timeline.

A highlight of our regular article news section is the completion of Hawkeye7's huge featured topic on the Manhattan Project. Of the set of 35 articles, 17 are featured articles and one is a featured list. Congratulations to Hawkeye on this achievement.

After the avalanche of new A-class articles this year, May was a relatively quiet month for these assessments; there were almost twice as many new MilHist FAs as A-class promotions. Among the FAs was Serial Number 54129's first, on John de Mowbray, 3rd Duke of Norfolk -- congratulations! At time of writing there are many A-class nominations outstanding, so readers are strongly encouraged to jump in and help bump up the numbers of new A-class articles for June!
