Welcome to the eleventh Bugle for 2021!

The project recently achieved a major milestone, with the number of good articles within its scope passing 5000! This is a great achievement, with military history articles making up one in seven of Wikipedia's approximately 35,000 GAs. A full list of the GAs within the project's scope is available here.

This month's article news section is huge. It features 14 new featured articles, a new featured topic and 10 new A-class articles. October was clearly a very productive month for the project, and congratulations to everyone involved.

The book review section also includes a larger-than-normal roundup of recent reviews of military history books published elsewhere, as well as a thoughtful review provided by Hawkeye7 of a book on the experiences of junior officers in the Canadian Army during World War II.
