The 2017 AFL Tasmania TSL premiership season is an Australian rules football competition staged across Tasmania, Australia over twenty-one home and away rounds and six finals series matches between 31 March and 23 September. [1]

The League was known as the Southern Cross State League under a commercial naming-rights sponsorship agreement with the company. [2]

North Launceston defeated Lauderdale by 87 points to win the 2017 TSL Grand Final.[3]
