The 2023 Women's U-17 European Handball Championship was the 16th edition of the European Women's U-17 Handball Championship, which was held in Podgorica, Montenegro from 3 to 13 August 2023.

Host selection[edit]

Montenegro won the hosting rights for the second successive time at an EHF meeting in Luxembourg on 23 September 2022.[2]

Qualification[edit]

After the Russian Invasion of Ukraine, the Russians were disqualified and Iceland, who placed second in the qualification tournament, took their place.
