The 23rd Separate Mechanized Brigade (Ukrainian: 23 окрема механізована бригада) is a brigade of the Ukrainian Ground Forces formed in 2023, during the Russian invasion of Ukraine.[2]
History[edit]
The brigade is at the stage of formation as of February 18, 2023.[3] It has been participating in the 2023 Ukrainian counteroffensive where it captured a Russian BMP-2 and an AK-12 assault rifle.[4]
