Ab Alvan (Persian: اب الوان)^[a] is a village in, and the capital of, Ab Alvan Rural District of Sar Asiab-e Yusefi District, Bahmai County, Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad province, Iran.^[4]

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 647 in 127 households, when it was in Sar Asiab-e Yusefi Rural District of Bahmai-ye Garmsiri District.^[5] The following census in 2011 counted 474 people in 100 households.^[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 253 people in 59 households.^[2]

After the census, Bahmai-ye Garmsiri District was renamed Sar Asiab-e Yusefi District and divided into two rural districts.^[4]
