Ademola Toyeeb Alugo (born 10 September, 1994) is a Nigerian entrepreneur and music executive.[1] He is the head of music distribution at Dapper Group, [2] and also the senior vice president of Dvpper Digital[3][4]

Early life and education[edit]

Ademola was born on 10 September, 1994 to Alhaji Fatai Moyosore Alugo and Alhaja Atinuke Alugo in Lagos State. He is an indigene of Lagos State, where he also spent his childhood.[5]

He acquired his primary education at Marie Claire Primary School and his secondary education at King’s College, Lagos. In 2015, he obtained a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from the University of Lagos. In 2019, he proceeded to further his studies and acquired a Masters' Degree in Businesses administration and management from the University of Lagos in 2022.[5]

Career[edit]

Upon graduation, Ademola worked shortly in the corporate sector with telecommunications company, Globacom.[5]

His journey in the music industry started in 2014.[6]However, he officially debuted the music scene in 2019 where he worked as the first employee and executive at Dapper Group, a music and entertainment company.[7] He is also the head of Dvpper Digital and has worked with several artistes like Omah Lay, Seyi Vibez, Ice Prince and Shallipopi. [8][9] He is attributed the distribution credit for Seyi Vibez's debut album, "Billion Dollars Baby", which amassed over 118 million streams on Apple and Spotify; and over 680 million streams on Audiomack.[10][11]

In August, 2023, Ademola was mentioned among the 30 Under 30 Power Players, TurnTable Charts.[2] He was also named the Executive of the week in July 2023.[7]
