Al-Mulk (Arabic: الملك, lit. 'the Dominion', 'the Kingdom') is the first chapter of the Qayyūm al-Asmā[1] comprising 42 verses; in fact all chapters of the book are 42 verses in length. In the Qayyūm al-Asmā, Surah Al-Mulk is the only chapter that does not begin with a verse from Surah Yusuf.[2] The chapter also shares its name with Surah Al-Mulk in the Quran.[3]

- Verses 10-13: Bear witness to the oneness of Allah, affirming the sincerity and peace of Islam while warning against disbelief and its consequences in the Hereafter.
- Verses 14-17: Emphasizes Allah's encompassing knowledge and authority over all things, affirming His witness over the believers.
