Banu Makki

Banu Makki was a Muslim dynasty that ruled over Gabés from 1282 until 1394.[1] At their height, their domain extended from Gabés to Tripoli and Jabal Nafusa.[2]

Origin[edit]

Banu Makki is a Berber family of Lawata origin a tribe native to Cyrenaica.[3][4][5][verification needed]
