Battle of Jalandhar (1750)

The Battle of Jalandhar was fought in 1750 by Sikh forces led by Sardar Gulab Singh and Mughal forces led by the Faujdar of Jalandhar.

Sardar Gulab Singh was the head of the Dallewalia Misl.^[2]^[3]^[4] In 1750, he attacked the city of Jalandhar with only 150 companions.^[5] He fought and defeated the entire army of the faujdar.^[6] This battle increased Gulab Singh's reputation among the Sikhs.^[7]
