Category:Archaeology of Eastern Africa by country

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Archaeology in the region of Eastern Africa organized by country. Eastern Africa is defined as is by the UN (Ethiopia, Eritrea, Djibouti, South Sudan, Somalia, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi, Zambia, Malawi, Mozambique, Madagascar, Zimbabwe, Mauritius, Seychelles, and any islands off the coast). As of now, certain countries lack categories to add to this one. This category is meant only to contain further categories, although if articles exist which are dedicated to listing or describing the archaeological landscape of any particular Eastern African country, they can also be allocated to this. Please refrain from adding articles about specific archaeological sites (these should go into their corresponding Country categories for the "Archaeological sites in" categories or into the Archaeological sites of Eastern Africa category), cultures (these should be in their specific country categories and/or in the Archaeology of Eastern Africa category), or things not in the region of focus.
