- Do not include Korean independence activists directly in this category, unless they were also a revolutionary in some other sense (communist revolutionary, anti-Joseon monarchy revolutionary, etc). Use Category:Korean independence activists and/or its subcategories instead.
- This is possibly distinct but related to Category:Korean rebels. According to Encyclopædia Britannica, rebellions try to change the government or some of its policies but not the society itself. Revolutionaries seek a fundamental reworking of society.
