This category contains images of Zimbabwean currency for which copyright has expired because it either has been or is about to be demonetized or was never issued. All images shown in this category are candidates to be copied to the Wikimedia Commons.
All banknotes, Bearer Cheques and Agro (Agricultural) Cheques are in public domain as of 21 June 2010. Banknotes of the first dollar (ZWD), along with emergency bearer cheques, were demonetised on 21 August 2006,[1] and bearer cheques of the second dollar (ZWN) were demonetised on 31 December 2008.[2] Following the de jure suspension of the dollar since 12 April 2009, the paper money of the third and fourth dollars (ZWR and ZWL) are now effectively demonetised and therefore in public domain.[3]
