As for non-Chinese photographers, they are listed if they have done a substantial amount of work in China (at a minimum, one book devoted to China) or if their work in China was of unusual historical or other significance. Non-Chinese photographers who have merely made short visits to China and had miscellaneous photographs published should not be listed below.
