Faroe Islands. In most cases, treaties that are to apply to the Faroe Islands are concluded and ratified by the government of the Kingdom of Denmark. On select occasions, however, the government of the Faroe Islands has been authorized to conclude and ratify treaties for itself. Treaties that were ratified by Denmark and extend to the Faroe Islands should be placed in Category:Treaties extended to the Faroe Islands.
