There are TWO ABA's, right?[edit]

I am suggesting a split between categories with the teams of the American Basketball Association of the 1960s and 1970s and the current ABA. --JB82 19:51, 29 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I agree wholeheartedly.

Put the original ABA teams in one category that is simply labeled "American Basketball Association teams".

Put the newcomers as "American Basketball Association 2000 teams" as this was the original name of the new league.

The two are very distinct and different and it is unfortunate that the teams from both are currently jumbled together.

ABA 2000 teams have been removed from this category and placed in their own category. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 4.225.126.212 (talk) 15:37, 25 February 2007 (UTC).[reply]

To do list[edit]

Thorough, individual articles are needed for these teams:

  • New York Nets
  • Oakland Oaks

Other categories to create and add:

  • a category for each team
  • a category for each team's coaches
  • a category for each team's players
  • a category for American Basketball Association owners
