Possible Split?[edit]

Should we split this into an "open source" and "proprietary" secion? i.e Remove this page and create an "Open Source Animation Software" and "Proprietary Animation Software", and to save the hassle of editing alot of redirects turning this page into "There are several types of Animation software:" Then do a list of the types, pointing to relevant catagory pages. And then say, "Or for a complete list of all animation software".

What do you guys think? Help plz 13:32, 29 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I don't see a problem with creating the two new categories mentioned. There is no need to remove this category. Just make the new categories subcategories of this category. When creating new categories remember to pay attention to the capitalization: they should be named "Open source animation software" and "Proprietary animation software". The animation software article itself would also benefit from expansion. JonHarder 13:45, 29 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
